“ALTASUNU: The Art Of Handmade” Our journey began in 2020, inspired by the vision and encouragement of Farzana Haque Deepty, who always pushed us to follow our dreams. We started small, facing many struggles — from limited resources to earning the trust of our customers — but our love for Bangladeshi handmade sarees kept us moving forward
The name “ALTASUNU” is a blend of two cherished memories: Alta, the bright red dye we used in childhood to color our hands and feet, symbolizing tradition and festivity; and Sunu, inspired by “Snow,” symbolizing beauty and nostalgia. Together, Altasunu represents the colorful charm of our heritage and the soft grace of treasured memories.
